Description :
Research project : The project aims at comparing the rheological and mechanical properties of various supramolecular assemblies based on a similar polymeric backbone. Particular attention to experimental protocols for sample preparation will be required to ensure reproducibility of the analysis especially during rheological experiments. From these data, a ranking of the supramolecular systems is expected. Polymers carrying the adequate supramolecular groups will be provided by SOLVAY the industrial partner.

Candidate profile : PhD in the field of polymer science, with a strong experimental background in polymer physics, polymer rheology and mechanical characterization. Knowledge or/and motivation to develop rigorous experimental protocols for physical-chemical characterization. Excellent writing and oral communication skills. International mobility.
